DESCRIPTION
Formerly the Hotel Frankfort - Having slipped into years of decay and neglect, this historic part of downtown Frankfort has been lovingly restored by its proud new owners Lesley and Geoff Perkins. With close attention to detail and tireless devotion to high quality The Betsie Bay Inn is fresh, vibrant, welcoming, and comfortable. Its gingerbread Victorian exterior is once again a colorful “Painted Lady”, prominently situated on Main Street, two blocks from gorgeous Lake Michigan’s beachfront, and across the street from many marinas. Easy walking distance to fine shops, galleries, and restaurants. The moment you step into the atrium entrance with its pebble floor, fieldstone planter, and copper column, shiny as a new penny, you will love your visit. The lobby has been transformed into a spacious warm atmosphere with fireplace and cozy chairs to curl up in. We offer spacious rooms for our guests – some with spas, saunas, wood stoves, steam showers, canopy beds, balconies, and lofts, or just a comy room with private bath to relax in. All rooms are spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and non-smoking. Our Inn offers two restaurants -- casual dining and fine dining; a nautical pub for the old salt in everyone, superb wine cellar, unique gifts from Scotland as well as local arts and crafts. Close to golf, boating, paddle sports, fishing, skiing, and just about every other outdoor Michigan activity. Open year 'round.
